The Sanctuary, also called the nave, serves as the primary worship space. This is where we gather together each week to praise and honor Our Lord and Savior, hear His word, receive the gift of forgiveness and receive the Sacraments.

Liturgy describes the order and structure of a church service. Our Church follows the basic liturgical orders used by the church for the last 2000 years. It has roots in Old Testament worship practices and is based on the teaching and very Words of the Bible.

The Lutheran Service Book (LSB) serves as our hymnal. It is a rich compilation of Christ-centered services, psalms, hymns, and prayers to nourish the faithful each week. There are multiple copies of the hymnal located in each pew for use during the worship service. The service bulletin notes the page numbers for all hymns and parts of the liturgy used during the Divine Service.

A service guide, or bulletin, is provided by an usher upon entering the sanctuary. The worship guide provides the order of worship including the hymns, prayers, readings, and liturgical responses for the day. It also includes weekly announcements, news, and upcoming activities.

Through Holy Communion, or the Lord's Supper, we receive Christ's true body and blood, given and shed for the forgiveness of our sins.   We currently celebrate the Lord's Supper on the 1st and 3rd Sundays of each month. 

We believe participation in the sacrament assumes a common unity of faith and doctrine.  We therefore ask that all guests who are not in fellowship with the Lutheran Church – Missouri Synod contact one of the pastors prior to the Divine Service before presenting themselves at the Altar for the Holy Communion.

Vestments are the various garments the pastors wear during the worship service. The paraments and altar clothes are what adorn the pulpit, lectern, and altar. The color of the vestments and paraments are reflective of the current color of the liturgical season.
