Redeemer’s worship services are on Saturdays at 6:00 PM and Sundays at 8:30 AM and 11:00 AM. All worship services are held in the sanctuary. 

Redeemer has a large parking lot. Pay attention to the directional lines as you enter the lot and be careful of any children running around! If you need overflow parking, across 33rd Street from the church is the Wood’s Park Pool and Tennis complex. It has plenty of additional space. Just be careful crossing 33rd Street! 

(Note: On occassion, parking in the Woods Park lot may not be available due to park facilities events)

The sanctuary has two primary entrances, one with stairs to the north and one with handicap accessibility entry to the west (closest to the three large crosses). Attendees can expect to be greeted in the narthex and handed a bulletin by an usher. Worshipers may select a seat in the main nave or the smaller west nave.

During worship we like to have our kids with us! It’s how they learn how to worship – from mom and dad.  There is a nursery available in the lower level of the church if you have small children who are getting extra wiggly.  The service can be watched in the nursery through a live feed.  Children's Sunday school is available each Sunday at 9:45 am (between the two services) over in the Family Education Center,  located east of the church.

Our Church follows the basic liturgical orders used by the church for the last 2000 years. It has roots in Old Testament worship practices and is based on the teaching and very Words of the Bible.  The order of service is in the worship guide (bulletin) you receive when you enter the sanctuary and includes the responses, readings, and hymn numbers.    

A standard service includes confession and absolution, readings from the Bible, hymns of praise led by an organ, a sermon, offering, the Prayer of the Church, the Lord's Prayer, and a blessing. Holy Communion is currently offered on the 1st and 3rd Sundays of the month and a children's message is offered on non-communion Sundays.

Many prefer to put on their “Sunday best,” while others prefer a more dress-casual approach. Whatever your attire, we want you to feel comfortable worshiping with us! After all, we’re thrilled you’re joining us and want you to be more focused on the worship than what you’re wearing. So don’t worry, you’ll fit in no matter how you dress!

Every Sunday, there is a pastor-led Adult Bible class offered in the Fellowship Hall in the lower level of the church.  If you need directions on where to go, ask any member and they'd be happy to direct you!

Sunday school is offered throughout the year. During the school year, children are grouped by grade and follow a curriculum schedule. In the summer, children join together for a themed group study. If you are bringing your child/children to Sunday school, take them to the brick Family Education Center (FEC) east of the church. They will be registered for Sunday school and taken to the appropriate grade.

Yes! For those who are hearing impaired, we have special hearing devices that you can wear that will allow you to control the volume. If you think this would be beneficial to you, let an usher know and they will give you a hearing device.

For the visually impaired, we offer large print bulletins for your ease of use. Again, just let one of the ushers know and they will be happy to assist you!

Yes, a live stream of the Sunday 8:30am Divine Service  is provided as a ministry for those who are unable to attend in-person.  It is not intended as a replacement for in person reception of God's Word and Sacraments together as a community of believers.  If possible, we encourge attending service in person.
