We believe the Bible is God's inspired, inerrant, and authoritative Word. It is the final source and norm for everything we believe, teach, and confess.

Because God speaks through His Word, we are committed to preaching and teaching the Scriptures faithfully so that people of every generation may know Christ and grow in Him.

We subscribe to the Lutheran Confessions contained in the Book of Concord of 1580 because they are a true and faithful exposition of God's Word. They do not stand alongside Scripture as another authority; rather, they faithfully confess what Scripture teaches.

Our commitment to the Lutheran Confessions shapes our preaching, teaching, worship, and pastoral care. We believe they preserve the Gospel in its purity and provide a faithful guide for the Church's life and mission.

Worship at Redeemer is centered on what Christ does for us before what we do for Him. Through His Word and the Sacraments, Jesus serves His people with forgiveness, life, and salvation.

For this reason, our worship follows the historic liturgy of the Christian Church. The liturgy keeps Christ at the center, unites us with generations of Christians who have confessed the same faith, and continually directs us to God's gifts rather than our own accomplishments.

We believe that in the Lord's Supper Jesus truly gives His body and blood together with the bread and wine for the forgiveness of sins, life, and salvation.

Because Holy Communion is both a gift from Christ and a confession of unity in doctrine, we practice closed Communion. We ask those who commune at Redeemer to share a common confession of the Christian faith and to have received instruction in what the Scriptures teach about the Sacrament.

We recognize that this practice may be unfamiliar to some visitors. It is never intended to exclude or judge anyone. Rather, it reflects our desire to receive Christ's gifts faithfully and to care lovingly for those who come to His altar. If you have questions about receiving Communion, we encourage you to speak with one of our pastors before the service.

We believe that Baptism is God's gracious work, through which He forgives sins, gives new life, joins us to Christ, and makes us members of His Church. Because these are God's gifts, we baptize both infants and adults according to Christ's command.

The Christian life is one of continual growth in Christ. Through worship, Bible study, catechesis, fellowship, acts of mercy, and outreach, we seek to nurture believers of every generation in faith and equip them to serve their neighbors in Christ's name.
