Ministries: Boards and Committees
Board for Christian Outreach
The Board for Christian Outreach promotes the practical application of the Savior’s commission to preach the Gospel to every creature and His instruction to be witnesses unto Him.
Board for Church Maintenance
The Board for Church Maintenance is responsible for the physical aspects of all properties held by the congregation and makes provisions that such properties are kept in a state of good repair.
Board of Elders
The Board of Elders assists the Pastors in all matters concerning spiritual life of the congregation. Each elder is responsible for approximately 30 families.
Board for Human Care Ministries
The Board for Human Care Ministries coordinates all social action programs bringing the needs of people in the congregation, community and society in general to the attention of the congregation.
Board for Education
The Board for Education is responsible for the educational agencies of the congregation. It plans and presents these programs to the congregation.
Board for Redeemer Lutheran Preschool
The Board for Redeemer Lutheran Preschool oversees the operation of Redeemer’s preschool. The purpose of the preschool is to reach out to little children with the love of Christ.
Board for Stewardship
The Board for Stewardship informs, motivates and enlists all members in a program of Christian life and service and visits new members to assist them in finding their place of interest in congregational life. The Board also plans annual faith promise solicitation of time, talents, and treasures.
Board of Ushers
The Board of Ushers greets and welcomes worshipers, receives offerings and renders assistance as needed for proper conduct of worship services.
Board for Youth Ministry
The Board for Youth Ministry is responsible for providing the youth with opportunities for spiritual growth, Christian fellowship and recreation.
Music Committee
The Music Committee is responsible for coordinating and overseeing matters relative to the total music program of the congregation.
Scholarship and Recruitment Committee
The Scholarship and Recruitment Committee organizes and administers a scholarship and recruitment program for those preparing for full-time service in the church.
